Intermediate Care is available to provide rehabilitation for individuals who are ready to leave hospital but are not ready to return to their own home alone/or without care, be that due to medical illness or operation. Prestige can provide full-time live-in care or hourly care, dependent on your needs.

Both physiotherapy and occupational therapy services can be arranged, but most of this work is undertaken be our highly trained staff, who can also undertake wound dressing management, pressure area care and incontinence care, but to name just a few.

 A dedicated team worker manages the discharge process right through to regained independence. The length/intensity of care for each person is based on their individual needs/progress and personal requirements, the team worker is responsible for charting progress, planning a weekly target programme and evaluating the care needs, decreasing nursing in-put appropriately, to facilitate smooth transition from co-dependency to independency, safely.
