All staff are chosen with a view of “would I like this person caring for my family”. Trained/Qualified nurses are checked that their registrations are up to date, that their practice is research based and they will have had a minimum of two years hospital experience. Auxiliary nurses are highly skilled, with NVQ caring qualifications or equivalent, having done nursing work for many years and received numerous  course updates within the hospital or nursing home work place. All staff are actively encouraged to enter into a professional development programme.
